Gold Coast

Another beautiful, sunny day.

We drove up to the Oxley Scenic Lookout for panoramic views over Tamworth before driving around Tamworth and then heading to investigate the 'multi-storey buildings' in West Tamworth that we had seen from the lookout. The turned out to me malt and grain facilities opposite the golf club.

On the way south, we stopped at the Nelliebelle Cafe in Murrurundi, north of Scone. We had tea/iced coffee with cakes in the garden there. Back on the road, we went through Muswellbrook before heading off the main road to look at Maitland. It didn't go well and I got rather lost. I eventually found a way out and we headed off to find the motorway to take us home.
